The New Strategies Forum is a four-day, three-night intensive management education experience that focuses only on how nonprofit organizations can develop and sustain strong, viable links to the business community.

Led by one of the nation's leading authorities on corporate philanthropy, the conference gives attendees practical, how-to-do-it input on scouting out corporate prospects and crafting funding opportunities that have the highest odds for success.

The Forum is open only to nonprofits sponsored by corporations. Businesses provide selected organizations with special charitable contributions that are used to offset all costs associated with the Forum (air/land travel, housing, instruction, materials, events, etc.)

Over 80 nonprofit organizations have participated in earlier Forums. Forum graduates have leveraged information presented during the Forum to generate substantially higher levels of cash and product support from corporations. Others have instituted cause-marketing campaigns and company employee engagement strategies developed during the program.

Charleston, South Carolina, is the venue for New Strategies. Consistently rated among the top 10 travel destinations in America (CondéNast) and ranked "America's Friendliest City" (Travel & Leisure), Charleston provides an ideal backdrop for each New Strategies Forum.

Along with hours of instruction, panel presentations and one-on-one discussions, the conference includes special networking events at some of Charleston's most historic and important landmarks. Participants will also discover firsthand why many food critics call the city the culinary capital of the South.
